OneLine Engineering provided complete electrical engineering and protection and control design services for the expansion of an existing 115 kV-34.5 kV transformer station, including the installation of a new 60 MVA transformer, HV and MV circuit breakers and protection relay panels. The scope of work included:
• Design of the protection relaying schemes for the line protection, transformer protection, and bus protection, including detailed drawings required for assembly of the relay panels for the expansion
• Production of all related electrical drawings including single line diagrams, AC & DC schematics, trip logic diagrams, cable and termination schedules, grounding and lighting layouts
• Equipment layout for the new relay panels in the existing control building
• Development of the upgraded stations communications and RTU system
• Design of new relay panels to replace the legacy protection relays for the existing transformer and line
• Revision to existing drawings as required
• Construction and commissioning assistance
