OneLine Engineering provided complete electrical engineering and design services for the upgrade of 115 kV Line L2 and Transformer T2 protection systems at an existing 115 kV – 35 kV transmission station, located near Wawa, Ontario. The scope of work included:
• Complete detailed design of new protection relay panels for the line protection, transformer and feeder protection
• Production and/or updating of all related electrical drawings including single line diagrams, AC & DC schematics, trip logic diagrams, equipment layouts, termination schedules, and equipment grounding
• Cable schedules for power, control and communications cabling
• Design and Gresizing of the station 125 VDC system upgrade
• Design of the ground grid upgrade for the new station
• Preparation on the relay coordination study and relay setting files
• Construction and commissioning assistance
