Project Summary

OneLine Engineering provided complete electrical engineering and design services for a 10 MVA, 115 kV substation for the supply of construction and camp power, including the interconnection with the 13.8 kV distribution system. The scope of work includes:

• Selection of a suitable site for the substation
• Selection and layout of the substation equipment
• Production of major equipment specifications
• Design of the protection relaying schemes for the substation, including detailed design of the relay panels and control building
• Review and stamping of the distribution system single line diagrams, produced by the Client
• Design of the construction power substation interface with the existing OPG substation equipment
• Programming and setting of the substation protection relays
• Design of the substation ground grid, including taking the ground resistivity measurements at site
• Construction and commissioning assistance
