OneLine Engineering provided complete electrical engineering and design services for the replacement of a 50 MVA transformer at an existing 115 kV MTS station located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. The scope of work included:
• Production and modification of all related electrical drawings including single line diagrams, AC & DC schematics and connection wiring diagrams for the new transformer and the addition of a new recloser
• Production and modification of the cable schedules
• Modification of the existing grounding drawings
• Relay protection settings for the new T2 transformer and for the existing T1 transformer
• RTU communications integration and network modifications
• Design of a new RTU panel
• Review transformer and recloser vendor drawings
• Construction and commissioning assistance
